Step up and shine in DanceVerve 22!
Ethnic meets modern and pop in this spectacular platform that features a dazzling spectrum of dynamic dances from multiple genres.
DanceVerve 22 is open to students from MOE Primary and Secondary schools, Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute and Special Education schools.
Students are invited to showcase their dance talent in (i) My Screendance! or (ii) The Ultimate DV Dance Challenge.

In this NEW platform, students are encouraged to create a dance film (also known as screendance) based on any dance genre. In screendance, dance and choreography are created for filming purpose (See an example HERE).
Screendance uses filming and editing techniques to create plot twists, layers of reality and emotional depth. The interdisciplinary mix of dance, film, music and even digital or animation effects results in a distinctive, hybrid form of performance art that makes for a magical viewing experience
Understanding the language of screen-based work takes skill, and to do so, students will need an understanding of movement, framing, editing and choice of music. To equip students with basic skills to make a dance film, students are strongly encouraged to sign up for an exciting online My Screendance Workshop:
