In compliance with IP law, specifically copyright, schools must obtain written permission from the copyright owner(s) for:
(a) Owning copies of unpublished works;
(b) Performing unpublished copyrighted works;
(c) Video-recording copyrighted works;
(d) Modifying copyrighted works (including changing of choreography / key / script, rearrangements, truncating, etc).
Schools should refer to the Intellectual Property Checklist (SYF 2025 Arts Presentation Notification Annex A-1) for managing intellectual property (IP) related to the SYF Arts Presentation.
