Beginning with the theme of ‘Everyday Heroes’, participants were taught creative ways to tell the stories of those they wished to honour and thank. From doctors battling the virus in hospitals, to teachers striving to create meaningful online learning experiences for students, this collaborative piece tells a tale of everyone uniting to do their part in the fight against COVID-19. Showcasing a variety of illustration styles, the piece also serves as a reminder that everyone’s unique strengths can come together to form something meaningful.

Darel Seow is an illustrator and designer who believes in the draw of storytelling to connect and engage. He creates experiences that simultaneously excite and educate through his work with art, cultural and educational institutions all around the world.
